My partner has been badgering me for ages to take her and an impending birthday sounded like the ideal opportunity for a visit. Stunning inside, a great looking traditional environment in stunning countryside. Good menu of English fare with plenty of subtle twists. The steak and ale pie was absolutely excellent and the steak cuts chips to die for....Neil A
Character of 18thC pub with just three bedrooms. Quiet location in lovely countryside but easy for getting back onto main route. Attentive staff. Accommodation and facilities all good. Comfy bed and pillows, power shower, nice bar lounge area. Wi-Fi. Ample parking.
Dropped into Ye Olde Mustard Pot for our Sunday Carvery Lunch this afternoon. Authentic country pub, lovely by the log fire, cosy atmosphere, & friendly staff. Will return x
